While the Pantone Color of the Year 2019 “Living Coral” primarily expressed freshness, dynamism and youthfulness, Classic Blue in 2020 will stand out with its simple elegance in its effect through calm, sovereignty and durability. "It is our longing for a reliable and secure basis on which we can build on the threshold of a new era", sum up the Pantone experts. Undoubtedly the dark blue, which is reminiscent of the evening sky, also stimulates reflection. But it also appeals to deep feelings and conveys reliability.
